Ruhee Dosani Wiki, Age, Height, Net Worth 2026

Ruhee Dosani is an Indian content creator and dancer who became widely known for high-energy Bollywood and Punjabi dance videos made with friends in the United States. A repost by singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh gave her work a major push, as reported by The Times of India. She later moved back to India, walked the red carpet at Cannes in 2023, and in 2026 finished as second runner-up on Prime Video’s Alliance. In The Times of India on 28 October 2026, she described herself as a content creator first, while adding that she would love to pursue acting. She belongs to the same new generation of Indian digital creators as Aneet Padda and Imanvi.

Early Life

Ruhee Dosani’s date of birth, birthplace and schooling are widely reported by profile and biography websites, but they have not been confirmed in the mainstream interview coverage used for this profile, so they should be read with that caution. Those sites consistently list her date of birth as 8 March 1997 and her birthplace as the United States, and they list her schooling at St. Lawrence High School in Kandivali, Mumbai, followed by graduation from R. D. National College in Mumbai. No interview with The Times of India, mid-day or Variety India consulted for this profile confirms those details. On the widely reported date of birth, she would be 29 years old in October 2026.

Profile sites also describe her as coming from a Sikh Punjabi family, name her mother as Mona Dosani and her elder brother as Punit Dosani, and report that her father died in 2016. Those details come only from profile sites and have not been confirmed in mainstream interview coverage, so this profile records them only as widely reported claims. In interviews, Ruhee has spoken more about connection than biography: The Times of India reported that she began making dance videos during the pandemic largely as a way of staying connected with home and Indian culture, often featuring Bollywood songs and her American friends.

Career

Before content creation became her full-time work, Ruhee Dosani worked as an IT professional in the United States, as reported by The Times of India. Her videos began as informal dance sessions with friends during the pandemic. Profile sites report that her first viral reel used a sound created by Yashraj Mukhate, and that she performed with friends in the United States under the name We-Desi, dancing to popular 1990s Bollywood tracks. The turning point confirmed by mainstream coverage came when Diljit Dosanjh shared her video: Ruhee told mid-day that recognition from Diljit Dosanjh on Independence Day marked a pivotal moment, and The Times of India credits his repost with giving her a major push.

Recognition from other stars followed. In the same mid-day interview, Ruhee said actor Ranveer Singh was the first celebrity who noticed her work. She told Hauterfly that her first collaboration in India was with Aamir Khan. A visit to India then changed the direction of her career. The Times of India reported her saying that her manager asked her to move to India, and that within 15 days she sold her car, ended her apartment lease and moved back. She has since described that move as impulsive, and Variety India reported her saying that moving back to India was the best decision for her career, because Mumbai and India offered so many opportunities in the creator economy.

In May 2023, Ruhee Dosani walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, an appearance reported by The Tribune and Social Ketchup. She said she wanted to use the opportunity to showcase genderless fashion and to represent India on a global stage, and Social Ketchup reported that she wore a hand-embroidered three-dimensional structured jacket with wide-leg trousers by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal for the premiere of The Zone of Interest.

Alliance, the Prime Video reality show hosted by Kunal Kemmu, premiered on 26 June 2026 and ran for six weeks, according to IANS reporting. Ruhee reached the finale, where Mini Mathur won the trophy and Rs 50 lakh, Aly Goni finished first runner-up and Ruhee finished second runner-up. Variety India reported that she had not initially been keen on a reality show, but decided to try it, partly for a social detox, and saw Alliance as a game built on tasks rather than drama. She told mid-day she had no regrets and felt Mini Mathur was deserving. One talked-about moment was meeting Salman Khan, who visited to support his brother Sohail Khan; IANS reported her calling their hug a dream moment.

Personal Life

Ruhee Dosani keeps her private life largely out of her public interviews, and no partner has been publicly confirmed. Profile sites describe her as unmarried, but no mainstream interview coverage confirms a relationship, and this profile does not name a boyfriend or partner. Variety India reported her saying she expected to stay friends with fellow Alliance contestants including Mini Mathur, Aly Goni, Seema Sajdeh, Agu Stanley and Zaid Darbar. She has also spoken about the harder side of creator life, telling Hauterfly that she has negative days and creative blocks, and that support from followers helps her refocus.
