Farhan Yousaf Wiki, Age, Net Worth 2026

Farhan Yousaf is a Pakistani cricketer who captains the Pakistan Under-19 team, and on 6 November 2026 he leads the defending champions into the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2026 against the United Arab Emirates at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Muscat, Oman. The 19-year-old right-handed middle-order batter already has a title as captain, having guided Pakistan to a 191-run win over India in the previous edition’s final in Dubai. Like fellow teenage batting star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yousaf has moved quickly from age-group cricket into the professional spotlight, earning a Pakistan Super League contract with Peshawar Zalmi for 2026.

Early Life

Farhan Yousaf was born on 15 December 2006 in Kasur, a city in Punjab, Pakistan, according to Cricbuzz, the IPL’s official website and News18, which makes him 19 years old in November 2026. His full name is listed as Muhammad Farhan Yousaf Khan. Note one discrepancy: the PCB’s own profile lists his birth year as 2007, which would make him 18, while most independent profiles give 2006. No height measurement for Yousaf has been published by any reliable source.

Yousaf came through Pakistan’s age-group pathway from a young age. The PCB lists his early teams as Faisalabad Region Under-13s, Central Punjab Blues Under-16s and Under-19s, Bahawalpur Royals and Lahore West Zone Blues Under-19, a steady climb that put him on the national selectors’ radar while he was still in his mid-teens. He bats right-handed and is used mainly as a middle-order batter who can accelerate in the closing overs.

Career

Yousaf’s rise at youth international level has been rapid. He was part of Pakistan’s squad for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup in 2024, and by the following year he had been handed the captaincy. Under his leadership, Pakistan won the 2025 edition, defeating India by 191 runs in the final at the ICC Cricket Academy Ground in Dubai, as reported by Dawn and Aaj TV. He also captained Pakistan at the ICC U19 World Cup in 2026, as reported by A Sports, giving him leadership experience at both of youth cricket’s biggest tournaments before turning twenty.

His youth one-day international record shows a batter still building consistency at the top level of age-group cricket. According to NDTV Sports, Yousaf had played 19 youth ODIs, scoring 340 runs at an average of 26.15 and a strike rate of 83.13, with a highest score of 65 against Afghanistan Under-19 and two half-centuries. In domestic T20 cricket, the IPL website lists 18 matches, 283 runs at an average of 40.42 and a strike rate of 171.51, with a highest score of 61.

His performances earned him a place in franchise cricket. Cricbuzz lists his teams as Pakistan Under-19, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars and Pakistan A, and the IPL’s profile notes that he was signed by Peshawar Zalmi for PSL 11 in 2026. A Super League deal at 19 is a significant marker for a young Pakistani batter, placing him in a dressing room with established internationals. Franchise leagues have launched many young careers this way, and Yousaf will hope to follow the path of established white-ball stars such as Glenn Maxwell, who built a global T20 reputation on aggressive middle-order hitting.

The 2026 U19 Asia Cup is his biggest assignment yet as captain. The Pakistan Cricket Board announced a 15-member squad on 27 October 2026, with Yousaf retained as skipper, and the eight-team, 50-over tournament runs from 5 to 14 November in Oman. Pakistan are grouped with the UAE, India and Nepal in Group A, while Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia make up Group B. Their fixtures are 6 November against the UAE at OCA Ground 2, 8 November against India and 10 November against Nepal, with the semi-finals on 12 November and the final on 14 November, as reported by UrduPoint. Speaking to PCB Digital, Yousaf said preparations had gone well and that the board’s early trip to Oman had helped the players adjust to the weather, pitches and conditions, as reported by Dawn.

Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez questioned the selection of players who had already appeared at major age-group tournaments, noting that Yousaf, Ali Raza, Usman Khan and Abdul Subhan had all been part of the 2024 U19 Asia Cup squad, as reported by A Sports.

Personal Life

Very little about Farhan Yousaf’s life away from cricket has been reported publicly. No information about his family, schooling or relationships has been published by reliable sources, and he has not given interviews about his private life.

As captain, Yousaf has spoken publicly only about cricket. His comments to PCB Digital ahead of the 2026 Asia Cup focused on preparation and the responsibility of defending a title, stressing that the team would not take any opponent for granted.

Farhan Yousaf Net Worth 2026

Farhan Yousaf net worth in 2026 has not been publicly disclosed, and no reliable estimate exists. As a youth international who has only just signed his first PSL deal, he is at the very start of his earning career, and any figure circulating online should be treated as guesswork.
