Deepika Kumari was born on Monday 13th June 1994 (Age: 27 years; As in 2021) in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. Her full name is Deepika Kumari Mahato and nickname is Deepa. Her zodiac sign is Gemini. Her religion is Hinduism.

She has a cousin name Vidya Kumari, who is also an archer.
On Tuesday 30th June 2020, she tied knot to Indian archer Atanu Das at Morabadi, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Both are happily married couple and support each other.
Career
She started her archery career in 2005 when she joined Arjun Archery Academy at Kharsawan in Jharkhand. But her professional archery career started in 2006 when she joined Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur.
Then, she started her training with the best equipments of archery with proper uniform. In 2006, she won the junior compound competition at 2006 Archery World Cup in Merida.
In 2009, when she at the age of 15, she won the 11th Youth World Archery Championship in United States. In 2010, she won two gold medals in Commonwealth Games and honoured with outstanding performance at Sahara Sports Awards ceremony.
In the same year she won bronze in Asian Games 2010 in Guangzhou. In 2011, she won silver medals at 2011 Torino and 2011 Tehran Archery Championships. In 2012, she won first World Cup gold medal at Antalya, Turkey.
In 2013, she won gold medal at 2013 Taipei Archery Asian Championship. In 2015, she won one silver and bronze in 2015 Bangkok Asian Championship with mixed and recurve team and one silver in World Championship at 2015 Copenhagen.
In 2019, she won two bronze medal at Bangkok Asian Championship with mixed team. In 2021, she won world cup at 2021 Guatemala City in women’s individual.
