Before entering in politics, Mansukh Mandaviya was a member of ABVP and grabbed position as executive committee member of ABVP in Gujarat unit. Thereafter, he work hard and appointed as leader of Yuva Morcha and the president of Palitana BJP unit.
In 2002, Mansukh Mandaviya started his political career when he contested election and won from Palitana constituency, became the youngest MLA in Gujarat. As MLA he organised 123 km long Padyatra in 2014 and 127 km in 2006 for social cause “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Vyasan Hatao” in villages of his Palitana constituency.
In 2011, Mansukh Mandaviya appointed as the chairman of Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Limited and took measures action like building E-radiation plant at Bavla, Poha plant at Navsari, Banana pack house at Achaliya and Bio fertilizer plant at Gondal.
In 2012, Mansukh Mandaviya is appointed as the member of Rajya Sabha and worked in many committee and departments. In 2013, he became the youngest state secretary of BJP party in Gujarat. In 2015, he is appointed as the general secretary of BJP in Gujarat.
On 5th July 2016, Mansukh Mandaviya was sworn as Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Chemical & Fertilizers in first Modi government. As a minister, he helped increasing road construction and decreasing the cost of Urea and fertilizers.
After completed his first tenure of Rajya Sabha, he is re-elected for Rajya Sabha from 2018-2024. On 30th May 2019, he take oath as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) in Cabinet ministers. On 7th July, Mansukh Mandaviya became the Minister of Health and Family Welfare as Cabinet minister.
