He joined Racing Club’s youth set up in 2002, aged eight. He was called up to the main squad on 24th June 2012, while still a junior, for a match against Velez Sarsfield, but remained unused in the 1-2 home loss. Rodrigo De Paul his first match as a professional, replacing Mauro Camoranesi in the 86th minute of a 0-3 loss at Atletico de Rafaela on 10th February 2013.
